An Evening with Javier Zamora and Friends at the Mount Baker Theatre

Due to the tremendous community response, Javier Zamora's appearance at the Mount Baker Theatre has sold out. To sign up for the waiting list for in-person tickets, you can call  (360) 734-6080 or email  tickets@mountbakertheatre.com

If you have reserved any tickets that will not be used for the event on Friday, March 13, please contact the Mount Baker Theatre ticket office to release them and allow others on the waiting list an opportunity to attend.

Whatcom READS is looking into the possibility of offering a live-stream video option to registered ticket holders and those on the waiting list. We will notify this group via email when details have been finalized.

Bushwick Book Club Northwest will open the event with original music composed by local musicians and inspired by themes from Solito. He will be in conversation with former Washington State poet laureate, Claudia Castro Luna. At the end of the event, Zamora will announce the Whatcom READS 2027 selection.

The event is free, however tickets are required and can be obtained via the Mount Baker Theatre website.
